Shakespeare's plays |
|
13th - 16th June 2012 |
In June 2012 our play will be Macbeth directed by Andrew Rogers and last performed by the Company in 1988. |
Picnic By The Lake
|
Buy something from our marquee, or bring your own food and drinks, and then picnic al fresco on the lawns by the lake before the performance. |
Auditorium |
Our specially constructed auditorium has raked and numbered seating, as well as a tented awning to keep the entire audience dry in the event of any rain. Warm clothes, and maybe a blanket are recommended, especially for late evening. |
Refreshment Marquee |
Our caterer will be on hand to serve your pre-ordered meals and a selection of snacks and sandwiches to be eaten either outside or in the marquee. Mulled wine, tea, coffee and cakes will be served during the interval. |
Bar Service |
In the marquee there will be a bar serving beer, wine and soft drinks, which will be open before the performance and during the interval, and after the show. |
Timing |
The grounds are open from 6.00pm for picnics. The play will start at 8.00pm prompt and finish soon after 10.30pm. The Saturday matinées will start at 2.00pm with the grounds opening at noon and the play finishing soon after 4.30pm. |
Children |
This is the ideal place for everyone's first taste of Shakespearian magic. |
DIRECTIONS |
The entrance to Hall Barn is off Windsor End in Beaconsfield Old Town and will be signposted by the AA from J2 on the M40 and through the Old Town itself. A small map and postcode will also be shown on your tickets.
|
Parking |
There is ample space near the stand, and disabled theatre-goers can drive right up to the auditorium. The parking is organised by the Lions who will be making a voluntary collection in the parking area to go directly towards the chosen charities. |
Weather Note and Refunds |
In bad weather the play will continue if at all possible, as the audience is under cover. However, should cancellation be unavoidable, every effort will be made to provide seats on another day. We regret that generally no refunds can be made but please see our refund policy in the Bookings section. |
