Are we seated under cover?
We provide a large marquee, open at one end with a great view of the stage where we construct a bank of raked seating to keep our audience dry. However as the auditorium is open, it can be quite cold so please dress accordingly if you feel the cold.
Are the seats allocated or unallocated?
All the seats for Chiltern Shakespeare's performances are allocated. This is performed by the box office team. We keep parties, booked at the same time together. We will discuss with you if we cannot seat all of the party together.
Can we choose our seats when booking online?
We do not allow you to choose your own seats during an online booking.
We have historically found that some parties will leave a space between them and other parties. These seats are difficult to sell. We also try to keep the two front rows free as these are the only places we can position wheelchair users and their carers.
We have already booked. Can we increase the size of our party?
We are always happy to take an additional bookings. It will created as an additional order. We will try to seat your additional guests as close as possible to your original party but cannot guarantee that this will be possible.
If booking these tickets online, please use the special requests box to let us know that you hope these additional seats can be near your previous seat allocation and what your previous order number is.

How can I buy tickets?
You can use our online booking system on this site.
You will asked to select the type of tickets your wish to buy on what performance. We then collect contact details. You can then confirm that you have selected the correct tickets and confirm your personal details. At this point you can enter any special requests such as please can I have an aisle seat etc.
You then submit your order. This is the point we become aware of your order.
You are then taken to a payment page when you can enter your debit/credit card details.
Or you can call the box office who will take your order.
How can I pay?
Our online system allows you to enter your debit / credit card details and this is processed through our payment processor Square. Box Office placed orders are also processed securely through Square.
Do you keep details of my debit card / credit card?
We do not store your debit or credit cards in any of our internal systems. When you enter your card details from our online payment page, or we enter your details on the box office, they are entered directly into Square's secure site. Square only share the last 4 digits with us to allow us to deal with any payment queries or refunds that might happen.
I would like to book via the box office, but don't want to give you my credit card details. Can I still book?
Yes - call the box office. They will take your order, discuss your seat allocations, and as part of the process can send you a secure payment link, allowing you to enter your own debit or credit card details. This link is a secure link to Square, who securely process payments on our behalf.
Once you have completed the payment, the box office is informed by Square, and we will send your tickets to the email address provided.
When do I get my tickets?
We process orders in the order they are received, but only once we have received payment.
We send then to the email address you have provided to us.
